Would you be interested in forming a Bible Study Group on this forum?

There are a few of us that have an interest in studying the BIBLE on a Question and Answer format. If you are interested in doing so, please let us know so that we might formulate a plan to do so. I would like to include ANYONE who is interested in doing so. I would like to use the BIBLE as our guide and proceed with a question and answer format. When answering questions, I feel that a scriptural reference would be needed. How do you feel about such a thing? It really should not matter whether you are a Christian, an agnostic, an atheist, a Jew, a follower of the Islamic Religion, or any other Religion to me.

Would you be interested in forming a Bible Study Group on this forum?
Don't listen to these fools (the debunkers)...

I would love to.

And I would also love to contribute as well
Reply:Interesting...count me in. Though I feel as though I already do that when I can.

Follow-up question:

Are you willing to be transformed by God's truth? In other words, every participant should be open to the guarantee of God's Word to transform your life; even those parts of our lives we're comfortable with that may very well be an offense to God and His Word.
Reply:I think it's a great idea. Count me in.
Reply:fabu;licious me ed's

tell me how?
Reply:Sounds like a good idea, but you know there will be so many atheists trolling your questions and stirring stuff up.
Reply:that is a very interesting idea and i would enjoy that although i would think it would be awfully difficult to do! good luck and God bless!!! ♥

ps im a Christian
Reply:Yes, I would count me in. Thanks Eds.
Reply:Sounds good to me, not interested to argue though, just let the Bible speak I would be interested doing this if it can be done without any arguing. But if arguing were to start I would opt out of that.
Reply:LOL, of course it shouldn't matter to you, but maybe it does matter to the atheist, Jew, Muslim, Budhist etc. How would you like to have a Koran study group instead? Afterall, everywhere you turn you will find bible study groups. This is not a Christian forum so please don't hijack it. I see that you've also asked the Gay and Lesbian forum if they would be interested in forming a bible study group too. Please, open a church if you want to preach.
Reply:I think that would be a great idea, I know we all need direction and to me it would be a support since I do not fit into any Church because I live with my boyfriend and am considered a sinner for doing so. I go to hear the word of God not to be judged. On here I would not be Judged but would be learning more about the Bible
Reply:A good idea. Hard work though. And because of this I have found very few people interested in real Bible study. There are many things in the Bible difficult to understand. You can look at some commentaries and find several explanations for one point - needs a lot of discussion. Bound to get some mavericks and saboteurs joining.
Reply:sure
Reply:I would do it.....just as long as some atheist did not try to interfere. I want to have a great time communicating about the word not defending myself.
Reply:Add me to your list!

Reply:I'm very much interested and thank you for the invitation. God bless you.
Reply:Dear Eds,

It sounds like an interesting idea.

I will consider it but at the same time I've been trying to be on the computer LESS, much less. Right now I'm struggling with Mouse Elbow. I also have Mouseitis in my wrist from mouse-overuse!

I am quite skeptical about your last sentence particularly because of all of the deleted questions, answers and even particpants in the R%26amp;S forum. Lately it has seemed as though there is a nasty rapid growing CANCER which must bring tears to the LORD's eyes.

Keep me posted.

For His glory,

JOYfilled
Reply:I have a similar question out right now. I guess great minds think a like.
Reply:I'm interested, just say when.
Reply:Sounds like a great idea. I agree with your last statement, however I do feel that everyone who is participating really want to study and learn the truth, and not people who just come to argue. I believe in studying the Bible not arguing over it.
Reply:No, we dont need the bible spread anymore. The bible is just a man made book that is imperfect. The bible is just a book that was used to scare people to keep them inline. It seems that society as a whole would of learned this by now.
Reply:What is the point of answering questions about the bible if you have to use the bible as a reference point? Isn't that just circular logic and self-referential?

it's not like you're going to discover anything new about it, is it? Besides, the bible has been studied, and the results are available at http://skepticsannotatedbible.com/ .
Reply:No, couse i hate when you guys say it is the word and the truth!
Reply:No thx.
