What are some good, convicting small group bible study books?

I lead a small group ministry called Ignite, and we're about to finish a bible study series that we've been using for a couple months, and I don't know where to go from there. I'd like to find a book or DVD series that will lead us to conviction and growth in the Holy Spirit. I've looked into Rob Bell's Nooma videos and a few of Ray Vander Laan's books, but I wanted to see if anybody on yahoo had any suggestions.

Get on line to CBN and get "Foundations of Our Faith." I wish I could a copy out to all the nut cases claiming the Bible isn't true. May the peace and love of Jesus the Christ descend upon you.
Reply:I would suggest "True Faced" produced by Leadership Catalyst.

Very good for growth!
Reply:"How to Hear God's Voice" By Mark Virkler. AWESOME!!!!!
Reply:Use the Bible, but only the New Testament. And only the things Jesus actually said.

Sermon on the Mount is a good place to start

.
Reply:"Brainwashing for the Masses" by Phyllis Donovan is a good one.

"I Can't Think For Myself" by Robert Whittaker is also a great bible study guide.

"The Bible" by Pagan Roman Emperor Constantine is OK, but it's full of errors and contradictions, and quite full of sex, rape, violence and hatred.
Reply:Go to www.livingwaters.com and check out the "Basic Training Course". This will challenge you to share your faith. They also have free videos and audios to download.
Reply:pursuit of holiness is good. Go to the bible book story and ask which is popular and good. They will guide you
Reply:Obtain the book, "What Does the Bible Really Teach" from Jehovah's Witnesses. It is an excellant resource. (Call them up and they will bring you however many you need.)

We will finish it in just 3 more studies, and it has been quite beneficial in helping us to better grasp the teachings of Scripture.

Next, beginning the week of January 8, we will begin consideration of the book "Revelation - It's Grand Climax at Hand!"
Reply:You might consider using books by C.S. Lewis. "Mere Christianity" would make an excellent start and is available in any bookstore. Any Christian bookstore can order bulk copies for you and your group.
Reply:Try http://www.rbc.org

stick to the bible and get a good program that will help guide you through it... do not study the words of man...stick with the Word and Will of God
