What are some good Bible Study Topics?

I Study the Bible daily... I am a Bible student! Just wanting to hear some different perspectives about Bible topics, Bible Characters, Books, Chapters, Verses, anything really...?

What have you gotten from what you have studied personally?

Any Rhema Word from God? Logos is good too.?

***please do not be-little my beliefs, If you don't have anything nice to say, please don't say anything at all.***

Thanks in advance.

What are some good Bible Study Topics?
I believe in rhema.

Take a look at healing for an interesting study. A lot of people have a lot of opinions, but the subject covers more territory than what most people think. T.L. Osborn, John G. Lake and F.F. Bosworth are good reads on the subject.

Did you know that Jesus never turned one person away who needed healing, yet people will say that it might not be God's will to heal. I think that Jesus was a pretty good example of God's will.

I have some of my best sermons posted here: http://p067.ezboard.com/Bible-Study/fthe... You might find them interesting. I try to get people to think.
Reply:I would suggest the topic of tithes.

It is extremely interesting to me how many people do not understand what tithes really are, and how they do or do not relate to the NT church. It is also extremely interesting how many churches will take scripture out of context when talking about tithes.

Just something I find particularly interesting.
Reply:Topic: Why do I study the Bible?

I'm serious. If only more "religious" people were capable of asking themselves this fundamental question "Why do I believe as I do?"

I'm convinced that the answer, in the vast majority of cases, is that it's simply the obstinacy of habit produced by generations of systematic sectarian training.
Reply:My favorite is Genesis.

It is a book that can stand alone. The rest of the bible, including the new testament is simply a more detailed version of Gensis.
Reply:The mind

mind of Christ dwell in you

put you on the mind of Christ

let this mind be in you

keep your mind on Jesus and look to him

when you have the mind of Christ Jesus you will see, and think his thoughts

the flesh and the spirit

deny the flesh the carnal man appetites and desires of the flesh

fruits of the spirit and gifts of the spirit
Reply:I just finished Daniel. What an awesome study! It touches upon Revelation and is quite an in-depth book to study. You'll learn a lot about yourself through Daniel's trials. Yet he always perservered through his God who loves him. I think you will really enjoy it. katiefish %26lt;%26gt;%26lt;
Reply:The Gospel of John is a good one. And Revelation.

God bless
Reply:Holiness is a good one

Integrity about Joseph

Buy a Naves Topical Bible they are fairly cheep, and it breaks down scriptures in topics, I think you can find one at a christian book store for under 20 dollars. Or go to a used book store.
Reply:You should study the entire bible. The reason why is because we need more non-believers. Nothing will get you there faster than studying the Bible.
Reply:Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans are all really Good books.
Reply:just the reading of John chapters 14-15 is wonderful to me

this morning... the angels, not just one, but many are always around us keeping charge over us, as so are the demonic trying their best to weigh us down. Psalms 91
Reply:Two of the best studies that I have done are on the Attributes of God and the Names of God.

I highly recommend a book entitled "The Attributes of God" by A.W. Tozer.

Also, a book entitled "Lord, I want to know You: A devotional study on the Names of God" by Kay Arthur.

Both books are Biblically-based and help you (us) understand the very nature of God through His Word.

My current Bible study group is studying the Book of Zechariah which, unbeknownst to me, contains the most Messianic prophecy of all the "minor prophets". Good stuff.

p.s. jonjon418 - I see that Thesaurus is working out pretty well for ya.
Reply:Genesis 1-5 has so much that you can do a lifetime of studies just on that. Look at the first few chapters in the Hebrew. It's fascinating.... It leads to so many other topics. Creation, sin, human nature, human conditions, male-female topics, marriage, temptation, deception, life, etc...

if you want to search or look at the Bible in Hebrew / Greek, look at this site:

http://www.blueletterbible.org

You can search for a passage, then click the "C" icon next to it, and it expands it to the original Hebrew or Greek words. If you click on the Strong's Number, it will give you the definition and search the Bible for that Greek/Hebrew word and show you every verse where it appears.
Reply:I just finished a study on patience which was very rewarding. peace is always a good study; also death, compassion, colors mentioned in the Bible.

Song of Solomon is a good book to study in the summertime, call it the summer of love.

"But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience." - Luke 8:15.
Reply:It's all good, if you want to believe in a fantasy world, go ahead...Jesus is my favorite fictional character.
