Has anyone heard of a email bible study?

My friend who just moved to the East Coast wanted to start a Bible Study and I am really wondering how it is oing to work out. any body have ideas or suggestions?

Has anyone heard of a email bible study?
Yes.

We've done them in "Talk 2 a Pastor" for quite some time.

A Bible study in a chat room works a bit better.

Reply:I have been conducting Bible studies by E-Mail for 3 years and in person for the last 36 years so if you or he want to E-mail me feel free thanks Gorbalizer
Reply:actually it works out well. just got to choice a topic you and your friend wants to study on. Share each others ideas in email. My husband and I runs a bible study group on line.. you are welcome to visit to get ideas if u would like too.
Reply:well they could post what they want the group to study on and give a deadline for the ansers to be in or just email one by one
Reply:I believe that any time two people decide to read the bible and share thoughts and feelings it is a great thing. The beauty of the age we live in where, friends a thousand miles apart, can connect through the Internet to discuss God's word. That in my opinion can never be wrong. It may be a little different or less personal, but by all means, what a great way to stay in touch with someone than regular sharing God's word.
Reply:I think this sounds like a good idea. If you could get a minister or teacher to help you set up a study guide, each of you could study and email or IM your views or questions to each other. This would help you learn from different points of view. It would be a good idea to have a good guidebook to work from.
Reply:i think that is a great idea maybe u need a website totally devoted im not sure how to get it started but gettin the word out is a start then settin a time and date for everyone to sign on like a chat room or something but u dont want just anyone to be able to visit it so i guess u would have to be able to delete the stupid plp that arent serious about it so i guess it could be very difficult but worth trying none the less
Reply:Graduate from 6th grade first.
Reply:The first thing you should study is the part where god turned the Nile river into blood. Very impressive.

Also study about Adam and Eve and their talking snake.

And about god confounding the languages all over the world, in response to something happening in one specific geographic location, namely, the building of the tower of Babel. And did that stop other towers from being built?

Study the Bible, if you study it well you will become atheists.
Reply:Yeah, forsake your idiotic religion and start seeing the world for what it is.

A cold, unforgiving, cloud of gas.
Reply:I'm not sure about an interactive bible study but I'm pretty sure that if you contact say another group and ask questions like how they got started you might get somewhere. It's a begining!! Actually I'd be pretty interested in how this turns out myself.
