Bible Study?

I need some help, and want to study the bible, but I am confused.

Bible Study?
God is able to show you. Seek Him and trust in Him and read the Bible for yourself.

He will show you if you go to Him.

I suggest you start with the Gospel of John and the Epistle to the Romans as perhaps the grandest and simplest.

Remember God is well able to show you Himself and take away any confusion and He has provided us with the Bible, His word, to lead us to Him.

Go to Him not man.

If you need a free Bible you can download from e-sword.net

That is the best site and programme available and they offer it free.

Edit : Read the Bible for yourself but also read it with your children.

God will show you Himself.

Men are likely to teach you what they think but God will show you the truth. He will open your understanding if you rely upon Him.

The Bible is to be understood spiritually and it is God's Spirit Who opens the understanding. Men are unable to do this.

Men teach carnally, that is to say mere natural or human understanding.

Only God is able to show you spiritually and give you the revelation and faith that is necessary.

When you have Him and that revelation then you will know.

Unless men direct you to God and to obtain from God Himself, beware of them.

Too many teach the Bible but do not even know God.

Go to God Himself, through Jesus Christ Who died to make that possible.

John 5/39-40. (Ye) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
Reply:If you are going to attend and approach a spiritual aspect of well being do it open hearted. You may want to attend a few times to see if thats what you really want to do. God accepts us as we are, but with acceptance there are going to be changes and you must be willing to make some sacrifices and stay focused within
Reply:Be more specific please.
Reply:read it too. in the morning, study it later that day.

just start reading it

expand your question please
Reply:get some friends together and pick a book in the bible. then read a chapter a week.

i would start with John. then my favorite is either isaiah or ephesians
Reply:Get a Bible and a good commentary. Start in the New Testament, Gospel of Mark.
Reply:God(Grace) is not the author of confusion, but of peace.

Not God (Law) is the author of confusion, and divisions.

It's "allegory" %26amp; "mystery" to solve,

by seek and ye shall find

Seek what?

Seek first the Kingdom of God,

and his righteousness(grace).

Find what?

Find grace

Why?

To help

Why?

You need help

Why?

You're confused

With all thy getting, get it: understanding
Reply:About what? .....ok ....I'll take the bait!
Reply:ill help ya
Reply:Peaches, God made the bible easy enough for anyone to understand it. If you really want to study the bible then study it, there is no special way to do it. If you need help understanding it, get a good commentary. God puts his holy spirit within us to help us understand the bible and get want He wants us to get out of it. Pray before you read your bible that God would help you understand. Also you want to find a good church because we also need fellowship with other christians in our lives. Hope I Helped.
Reply:I don't know what you are trying to study, However, you should fellowship with the people in your church.
Reply:Just ask any Jehovah's Witness that knock on your door...or walk into any Kingdom Hall near you and ask again...you will not be refused...

And to findout what you will be taught...

Reply:think of a topic that you really want to learn about andyou can buy study Bibles where you can fnd that perticualr topic. If you just want to study the Bible in general...read Luke or John...two of the great accounts of Jesus life
Reply:If you know other believers, try discussing it with them. Try to find a small group, via your church, or maybe meetup.com. You haven't given us a lot to go on here?
Reply:There are plenty of resources. If you have specific questions ask someone you trust, such as a Pastor. Ask a few people to see what they think. There are soooo many bad teachings out there that you need to e careful. The first step I would suggest is pray. The bible is one book that you can still talk to the author of. Ask God to send his Holy Spirit that he might lead you into the truth. Do this before you read and God will guide you in the right direction.
Reply:there are some good Bible studies on the Internet free. go to yahoo and type in free bible studies. That will give you a start.
