Anyone know how we could get a Bible study going, and would that be permitted on Yahoo?

I think it would be a lot of fun to start a Bible study.Everyones invited, everyone a teacher and a pupil.Pick a subject.Everyone vote on that subject and go with it.Take turns with where its based at.What do you think?

Anyone know how we could get a Bible study going, and would that be permitted on Yahoo?
Yahoo Groups is the way to go... You could call it Don's Bible Study Group or whatever. Each group has its own files, photos, calendar etc, etc. You participate by email or directly thorough the Group. Everything posted goes to all members via email.

You can make it so anyone can join or you can set it up that people have to request to join. You can also assign moderators to help keep things organized.

Go to the link below to set up your group. Email me when you have it up and running.

Good Luck, Peace and Blessings
Reply:Don,

I like the idea and I would gladly participate. I do not care what topic we would begin with but I imagine that we would need to arrange for a different site to do so. There are prayer groups I believe we could form a Bible Study Group also. Have a nice evening. Get with me and we will see what we can do to set this up.

Thanks,

I would like to suggest that we answer such questions by using scriptural references to scriptural questions on such a matter. That should keep the arguing between religious groups at a minimum. Wouldn't you think??

Thanks again,

Reply:Hey Don, I really think you should be able to begin a Bible Study, However because of the majority of the people who come unto Yahoo, a good number of them would become a serious distraction to those of us who actually want to hear and know more. Last week I was given a Violation, because I mentioned a particular Christian website....So obviously someone who wasn't Christian took offense to that and turned me in! The young lady who mentioned creating your OWN Yahoo Site had a Brilliant Idea, perhaps you could do that and put up a Post to inform others that you are creating it and they are welcome to attend. I personally would truly cherish the idea. God Bless You Always, Lisa
Reply:Why don't you just study, you know current affairs, science actual relevant things...? Its no wonder you lot are still stuck in the stone age.
Reply:You might be able to start your own Yahoo Group.
Reply:If it was in Question and Answer Format, should work!!!

Ditto..........GOD Bless!!!`
Reply:You could probably email people with different bible study topics. I would like that.
Reply:I think you could do that in the chat rooms, or you could start a group with that purpose. You couldn't really do it here on Y!A unless you agree to keep it strictly to the Q%26amp;A format, though.
Reply:You guys cant be for real. Do you dorks ever get laid?
Reply:I think that is a great idea, however I don't know how to start one either.
Reply:You should be getting that within your church. The danger of what you are describing is that there are too many diverse beliefs and opinions for a consistent bible study to take place. I'm a Christian and I certainly wouldn't want to participate.
