How to do a real good bible study?

I've done a biblestudy once, it was good, but I know with God's help and a little instruction I can do better. Can you give me some good tips on giving a bible study? It would be greatly appreciated. :)

How to do a real good bible study?
Get a orgional KJV bible

one that has References

That why instead of just reading one book

you can by every passage go to other scriptures

that explains how each one is connected

and jump around Thus getting the whole story

and the WHOLE of the WORD

so many take just one scripture and put there own spin on it

and instead of what it Truely means in scripture

thus mans teachings of the Word

rather then GODS teaching of His Word

its always better to read it yourself rather then depend on another , but if one is True and reading it as they should with the Spirit leading , they will know if what another says is of God or not

its like a piece of pie

the pie is round

and not every piece is good

you may get one slice from One pie(persons understanding)

and another peice from someone else

BUT not all of the pie is always best or good

some have the knowledge of Most of the pie

BUT NO MAN has the Whole pie... WHOLE !!

if they did , they would be with the Lord already

make sense to you ??

Ask i dont mind helping with what i can

e-mail me if you like

i will answer whatever questions you have

that i can

and that goes for anyone

who reads this

i dont have ALL the answers

but i do have the one who does .......
Reply::-)

Reply:There are whole books on how to do Bible studies, but here are some of the basics.

1. Do your homework and make sure that you know what the passages you are studying meant to the people to whom they were written.

2. Be sure to teach the "whole counsel" of God's Word using Scripture to interpret Scripture, with clear passages being used to clarify passages where the meaning is not as obvious.

3. Take the eternal truths of the passages and show how they apply to life here in the 21st century. Remember that there is one interpretation based upon the information that the author was trying to convey to his contemporaries but there are many applications that apply to people throughout the ages.

If you want to find some good resources for Bible studies then check out the Free Stuff page @ http://web.express56.com/~bromar/ and look around for some studies as well as tips on how to conduct them.
Reply:Actually read it, and think a little, comment on the story presented. Ask how does that lead to being a better person .

For example, on the subject of immigrants, Exodus 23:1-3, 7 says to treat them well.
Reply:You don't need to study the bible to be a Christian. Just pay your tithes and the priest will interpret it for you. Thinking is not required.
