How to start a Christian Bible Study for Single Christians?

Send the Holy Spirit in front of you through prayer. Let Him draw people to your fellowship.

Set the time and place - and send the invitations. If it is during the Bible Study hour at Church - have an announcement in your Church buliten.

If it is after hours, and in someone's home - make provisions for snacks or a meal with the gathering. Make sure to call everyone the day before to remind them.

Study the word with any Bible study guide that you like. Keep your eyes upon Jesus. Make Him the focus of all meetings. Forget that you are a group of Singles. Look at it as a group of human beings seeking God together.

NEVER EVER let the devil discourage you about the size of the group, nor the frequency of their attendance. Just hold them in regular prayer that God would bless them, and make His full intentions manifest in their lives.

Be committed.

Remember - when you plant a seed in the dirt - a full grown plant does not spring forth in the next second. It takes regular sun and water and time to grow - and you may or may not be the one to bring in the harvest.

Just be content in your committment and stay faithful to the word. Remember - Singles can "meet" someone and date someone anywhere in their personal world. Whether they get together in your group is irrelavent. The REASON is God alone. Remain true to the Word and the study, it is up to them as to how they apply it in their lives. Don't let jelousies and gossip about who likes who poison the group - ever.

Peace.
