When you were a child would you study the bible or attend religious services with friends?

Just to be able to eventually play with them? or did you go home if they had to study the Bible?





Also did you have to de-frost the refrigerator before they were frost free. I know that part of the question is out of place, but I read with Global Warming we might have to resort to de-frosting refrigerators once again.

When you were a child would you study the bible or attend religious services with friends?
Well for the first question I used to study my bible and read 10 chapter a day and then later on on weekend I would attend religion services.


Also when I was growing up we had to de frost the refrigators before there was frost ones. But still sometime we have to defrost the frost because sometime they get clogged up. But we should be thank ful that we don't have to do that often like we did when I was a kid. I especially hate when mom had to defrost the big freezer on the back porch that took all day. It was big freezer and she been passed away two years and it still works.
Reply:no matter what we do about global warming, it will barely make a dent.worldwide..maybe here..but not worldwide..for they are using our left over designs..or stuff..ect.


i was raised catholic..took sunday schooling.and failed all three time..lol.i wanted to play..age 30.is when i become 'born again' penecostal..GOD design my DAY of salvation..the higher one goes..in spiritual wisdom..and power.and love..the HIGHER the power output our words produce.

Reply:No, I don't recall having to study the bible at any of my friends houses when I was little. Nope, we'd just go outside and play.





And yes, we did have to de-frost the refrigerator.

Reply:I was made to go to church and Sunday school as a child but if I was over someone elses house and they had their religious time I left because I had too much of my own already.





I grew up before frost free fridges.
Reply:That was the only reason why I became a Christian, because my best friend lived next door, and they were all very religious. Besides, when you're a little kid church is fun, and it's still all the "Jesus and God love you and want you to be happy and eat cookies." When we got home from the brain-washing session, we'd go ride bikes or whatever. So yes, I went to church partially to hang out with my friends.


About the defrosting the refrigerator, I don't think so.

And no, not ever. I did have parts of the bible read in school, in comparative religion where it belongs. Along with selections of other holy books.
Reply:No-I got dragged to church for an hr and a half every sunday but that was it and when I decided to stop being a Christian in my mid-teens that stopped too.





We had a frost free fridge.
Reply:The only way I could get out of going to my own Church was to attend a friend's religious services on Sunday morning. Grew attending a UCC (mainline protestant/congregationalist).
