Can you suggest a good Christian Bible Study Book?

I want suggestions for books that can help me grow spiritually whether they are Bible studies or not. I would like any suggestions, and although I'm not a baby in Christ, book authors like John Piper and Tozer go way over my head, but I'm willing to look into them if you can explain what you enjoyed so much about those books. Also, please explain why you enjoyed that book and how it helped you out, so I can narrow down my choices.

Can you suggest a good Christian Bible Study Book?
How about some books by Paul E. Little:

Know What you believe

Know Why you beleive

How to Give your Faith away
Reply:"Living by the Book" by Howard G Hendricks is an excellent and readable book about how to study the Bible. Hendricks is a classic teacher of how to study the Bible. He is simply the best. Other than that, study the Bible. It is a good Christian (and Jewish) Bible study book.
Reply:"Undenominational Christianity" written in 1913 by J. N. Armstrong is great!

This book tells about the church Jesus built and it discusses the possibility and the need for us to become a member of that same church today without ever joining any denomination.

It discusses how we can be Christians only - nothing more, nothing less, nothing else. It also discusses how it is possible for a group of these Christians to meet together as a church and that just like the Christians are not part of a denomination, neither is the church! (Just like the church in Acts 2 was not part of any denomination.)

I think this book is currently out of print, but you may be able to find a copy from the publisher, Resource Publications in Searcy, Arkansas.

This book is small, but it really helps a person understand the church of the Bible!

If you can't find a hard copy, you can read the book at the web-site below.
Reply:"What Does the Bible Really Teach"

Printed in over 100 million copies and in over 70 different languages.

Enjoyed world-wide with many, many scriptures you can look up in your personal copy of the Bible, whatever translation you use.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Not light reading but does not bog you down either.

You can obtain from any one of Jehovah's Witnesses when they call or you can call your local Kingdom Hall for a copy to be dropped off or mailed to you.

“As for that on the fine soil, these are the ones that, after hearing the word with a fine and good heart, retain it and bear fruit with endurance.”—LUKE 8:15.

“THE book is simply excellent. My students love it. I love it. This book makes it possible to start Bible studies with people right at their doorstep.” So said a full-time pioneer minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses concerning the book What Does the Bible Really Teach? Referring to the same publication, an elderly Kingdom proclaimer said: “I have had the privilege of helping many people come to know Jehovah in the 50 years I have been active in the ministry. But I must say, this study publication is outstanding. The refreshing word pictures and illustrations are a delight.” This Bible study aid is designed to help you fulfill Jesus’ command: “Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, . . . teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.”—Matthew 28:19, 20.

No doubt, Jehovah’s heart rejoices as he sees some 6.6 million of his Witnesses willingly obeying Jesus’ direction to make disciples. (Proverbs 27:11) Jehovah is obviously blessing their efforts. During 2005, for example, the good news was preached in 235 lands and, on average, over 6,061,500 Bible studies were conducted. As a result, many people ‘heard God’s word and accepted it, not as the word of men, but, just as it truthfully is, as the word of God.’ (1 Thessalonians 2:13) Over the past two years, more than half a million new disciples have conformed their lives to Jehovah’s standards and dedicated themselves to God.

These are all from the same publisher, (those listed above %26amp; below), %26amp; the online articles below display the same Scripturally based attitude as the books listed above:
