How did the women from bible study turn into a joke?

I heard the story about 3 women from a bible study who at different times, said they met the man they were going to marry. He was the one God had in mind for them. They had prayed about it and felt it was God's will. It turned out they were all talking about the same man! They laugh was on them when they all revealed the name of the man in the Men's bible study at their church. God would not direct a man to marry 3 women.

Where did they go wrong?

Were they desperate to get married to a Christian man?

Did they follow their own feelings instead of trusting God with all of their hearts?

How did the women from bible study turn into a joke?
The Bible says that God is not the author of confusion and that His yes is yes and his no is no. It's obvious that these women got their personal desire's voice mixed up with the voice of God. It happens to the best of us...
Reply:The man knew they were gullible and probably told them he was destined to be with them and it was God's will- They were totally desperate and followed their desires
Reply:First off, you heard a "story" that doesn't make it true. If it was, then I would say that they made the error of trusting a person. Also, God would have been guiding them since he revealed to them what was happening by arranging for them all to be together in Bible study and find out what was going on.
Reply:You're right, God would not direct a man to marry 3 women. I think they followed their hearts instead of God's spirit.
Reply:I'm sorry, but who are you to presume what God would or would not do? It is only our culture that prohibits polygamy.
Reply:Where did they go wrong? They went to bible study instead of using their time correctly.
Reply:it seems they may have been in bible study for all the wrong reasons. as to why it happened this way, the possibilities are endless, maybe god wanted them to take teh study more seriously and not the men.
Reply:Maybe they ought to pray to know if this man knows any other men they can marry.

Reply:How selfish of them... they followed their hearts and relied on their own judgement. For shame.
Reply:This was god's way of teaching them never to trust a man. Instead he gave them a foundation of common experience to grow into their true lesbian calling.
