Home bible study with workbooks for adults?

I'm looking for a good home bible study course with a weekly lesson plan and a workbook or just has a workbook to go along with chapters of the bible, something more than just a commentary though. I know there are a lot of online courses but I want something I don't have to printout or do on the computer. Please be specific to the name of the course, not just a link to a website. I have found a lot of websites with a lot of books and guides but haven't found what I'm looking for. Also I prefer something nondenominational, if possible, but it's not absolutely necessary. Thanks to everyone who stops to read and/or answer!

I don't know a comprehensive one, but I like Lucado's "Experiencing the Heart of Jesus." It's a study workbook and it's really good. Got it at a Christian bookstore. There are study guides for individual Bible books.
Reply:United Christian Church Bible Institute, PO Box 700, Cleveland, TN 37311.

Request information on United Christian Bible Institute on General Bible Knowledge. Once you finish the course they will invite you to Cleveland, TN to walk across stage to receive you Diplomas for General Bible Knowledge of the Old and the New Testament.
Reply:Jehovah's Witnesses offer free home Bible studies. We are currently offering a study with a book titled "What Does the Bible Really Teach?" It's a wonderful book. They can actually come to your house once a week and study with you. What you can do is go to watchtower.org and fill out the contact form, and they should contact you soon. But, if you look for the number to your local Kingdom Hall, you can call them and ask for a copy of the book. Maybe it'll be faster that way. :)

Enjoy your journey of Bible study!

Edit: Oh wow....Jehovah's Witnesses are very Christian.
Reply:You can order Bible study work books from the following link.

I have done the Experiencing God series of Bible Studies and would recommend them for anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with God.
Reply:My sweet sister in Christ, Im looking for that this very moment since I am supposed to teach a class and not sure what to teach and Im looking for a workbook or something.....let me know if you find anything good, ok?...mark me as a buddy perty pweez
Reply:Look at the "Navigators", they have a lot of good studies.

If you are close to a "Lifeway" book store or a "Crossway", you may be able see the books they have. They have topical, doctrinal, and books studies.
Reply:Actually, JenJen's right. Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians and have the best Bible Study tools.
Reply:the best way to find what you are looking for is to go to a good christian bookstore. there are some great ones out there.
Reply:All I have is Catholic, sorry

Reply:I'm not sure of any off the top of my head but I would encourage you to ignore the advice of JenJen. I assumed you wanted a Christian bible study. If so, then the JW bible study isn't for you. JW's are a non-Christian heretical cult.

To those that say the JW's are Christian, lets look at some of there beliefs:

-Jesus did not rise from the dead in his physical body

-There is no Trinity

-The Holy Spirit is a force, not alive

-Only their church members will be saved

-The soul ceases to exist after death

-There is no hell of fire where the wicked are punished

-Satan was entrusted with the obligation and charged with the duty of overseeing the creation of the earth

-Jesus is Michael the Archangel

These teachings are inconsistent with Christianity
Reply:Hello,

I wish I could help you so, I did find some websites. I know you said that you have already found plenty of sites. The best thing for you to do is, go to local Christian Bookstores in your area to look at books yourself to see what you are looking for specifically. If there isn't a store in your area, you will have to order on-line. If I am not mistaken, Bible Study Books have different topics listed on them that can be discussed. You have to know what subject or subjects The Lord wants you to begin with and go from there.

Blessings!

Ask God is fun show to watch. On this program, there is a panel of people discussing different subjects. Very interesting for groups. I sometimes watch it on the Internet on Sundays on Streaming Faith. Streaming Faith is an Internet website that has Christian TV stations that you can watch on-line, Radio Stations and more. You will probably have to contact the Ask God Program to find out what station and time they air on Streaming Faith.
Reply:I say this is an excellent Bible Study guide.

It is called Discover Bible Study. It covers different subjects and basics of the Bible. They're free. all you have to do is go to this link and fill it out.

These have Video seminars online though you would have to read them online

i'm not really sure on what you want, but I can tell you this.

I do follow these because they are all backed by scriptures.

The followings of this church (SDA) are all from contextual scripture, and there aren't aspects that are not proven through scripture. I really emphasize the belief of the Church who distributes them. Either way, its from the Bible, and the beliefs no matter what religion name, makes the difference. You might want to try to look for any Seminars going on around your area too.

I believe, and it changed my life.
