My VBS(Vaction Bible School) class needs a good story about helping others. My grandpa is telling the storie tonight! And we need a very good story for the young ones and older ones. Our group is involved with kids about 4-12 years old. But we need a helping story that the kids, especially the younger ones, will enjoy. Whats a good Bible story that has to do with helping others? Please help!

There are a lot of good materials for story stelling especially if you want to teach about helpfulness and generosity. You can go with the story of THE GOOD SAMARITAN (Lk. 10:25-37), or THE HELPFUL DORCAS (Acts 9:36-41) or the story of THE WIDOW WHO HELPED PROPHET ELIJAH. God bless you on your ministry.

Reply:If you have any veggietale movies use them....alot of older kids love them still. I am 18 and still LOVE veggie tales to this day. If you have the Wonderful Wizard of Ha's veggietales, I would HIGHLY recomend that! I dont know how much time you have for story time but its about 50 minutes long, and if you dont finish a movie one night, finish it the other night where you left off AFTER you do a review with the kids and see what they remember and if they dont remember anything do a review so they arent lost during the last 20-25 minutes of it.
