Any ideas for snack for my bible study club ?
bread, fish and wine or unleavend bread like in the bible

or make buns with crosses on them, a cake in the shape of a fish or cross, serve white foods (white corn chips, white dip...) as a symbol of purity, gold fish crackers, animal crackers (the arc)
Reply:For story of David and Goliath. I made cookies shapes like slingshots. (Rolls cookie dough out and form into a Y shape.) I used string licorice for the strap. (children like red better) Set "string" in as soon as cookies are out of the oven. For the stones use malted milk balls

This is a cute idea to go along with the Bible lesson from Exodus 2:4-10. Moses mother put her baby in a basket and floated him on the Nile River in order to protect him and keep him safe. She trusted that God would take care of Moses.

MOSES IN THE BASKET ingredients: 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup nonfat dry milk, 1 cup honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 cup crushed cornflakes, jelly beans, wax paper

Mix together the peanut butter, dry milk, honey and vanilla. Roll the peanut butter mixture into small balls. Roll the balls in the crushed cornflakes, place the balls on wax paper, and shape into baskets. Add a jelly bean in the middle of the basket to be baby Moses.

In Psalms 23, David talks about God as a caring shepherd who watches over the sheep and takes care of all their needs. David trusted God the way a sheep trusts the shepherd.

SHEPHERD'S LUNCH Prepare some seedless grapes, cheese chunks, and bread to enjoy with your children. Spread a quilt outside under a tree. Tell your child that shepherds in Bible times ate their lunch outside while they were watching over their sheep. The shepherds might have had grapes, cheese and bread to eat.

When teaching about Noah's Ark, we made this ark snacks and the children loved them! Cut a pita bread in half, so that it resembles an ark. Let the children spread peanut butter and jelly inside the pita bread with plastic knives. Then give the children an assortment of animal crackers to place inside of their arks! Eat and enjoy!

Items Needed: 2 graham crackers for each child peanut butter Tube of white icing Directions: make a graham cracker and peanut butter sandwich, then take the icing and outline the sandwich, finally with the tube of icing write "Bible" or "Holy Bible"
Reply:How abotu skipping bible-related snacks and just serve something that tastes good??? They'll appreciate that!

Place spinach in a large mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well by hand.* Form the mixture into 1-inch balls, either by hand or with a small ice cream scoop. Place the balls closely together on a baking sheet.

Cook in the top half of the oven until firm to the touch, about 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes, and then transfer to a platter and serve immediately.

* Cook's Note: Wearing latex gloves while mixing and forming the balls is suggested.
