How do you start a bible study group?

Since I have joined my church, 4 families in my apartment complex have have started attending, and plan on coming back. The Lord has placed it on my heart to begin a study group with these families, and other families, to be a resource to get thru daily life challenges. I just dont know where to begin. What type of resources are there? Thanks in advance!

You are doing such a wonderful job at reaching those souls who need to hear about The Lord. There is a website called:

Amazingfacts.org where you can get amazing literature at either low or no cost. I highly recommend their Bible Study Guides. I guarantee you its all you will need to study the Bible in detail.

You may also write to them to request it for free:

Reply:Yeah! that is so cool that folks in your apartment are coming to church! I want to encourage you to follow up with this and follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit to have Bible Studies.

I use Precept Ministries materials for the Bible studies that I teach. They are excellent. Some require leader training and others don't.

It is well worth your time to check them out:

Reply:It's always good to teach the Word! :) Here's a website where you can teach them the Bible. It has explanations for every verse of every book of the Bible: http://www.soniclight.com/constable/note...
Reply:Just communicate 'who, what, when, where, how and why' about it, and let God provide. Also apply Hab. 2:2.
Reply:Start with the bible
Reply:Just grab a bible, and WAHHHHH!!!!

Ask people to join you.

Seems everyone is a bible expert these days!
