Im starting RCIA classes in a month and need to budget that along with school supplies and stuff, how much is too much- basically what should I expect to spend on them in a store?

The parish where you're attending RCIA may supply the class with Bibles -- worth asking about before you purchase one yourself. A catechism can be purchased in paperback for less than $10.
