Hi i am a college student, i need to conduct a prayer in a bible study to my non christian friends how do i do it. please help!!

How to conduct and opening Prayer in a bible study?
Good for you. Now if you are starting a study with non Christians, don't blast em full force cuz they are ot ready. Say some prayers before you meet for God to open hearts and enlighten them that they might be saved. To open in prayer, keep it short and simple. Oh Lord, help us to understand what we are about to read that we might open our hearts to Your saving Grace found in Jesus Christ.

to lead the study, find a beginner's study, that goes over the basics of the faith in Jesus, or what I have done is used a Max Lucado book like : "He Chose The Nails" and there are short readings and questions at the end. He came out with a new study: John 3:16 and you can buy the book or the study. Keep it simple. Non-Chrsitans need to hear of the love of Jesus and then they are going to be ready for the life changing stuff. God bless your adventure.
Reply:Ask for God to have His way~and just go with God!
Reply:start with thanking God for bringing everyone together. then ask God to lift their burdens off their hearts so that they may see his glory. ask God to shine on them so brightly that they cant deny his presence. Make it about God not the people there.
Reply:you dont, they dont give a shat if they are non xtian
Reply:You have a bible study for non Christian friends? That is interesting. Just try not to insult them or insinuate that there is something wrong with them in your prayer. As a non-Christian I have found it annoying when my mother used to pray over the dinner table that God would 'open my eyes' or some such. Just pray for understanding and light and such.
Reply:First of all allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you.

Don't think about what to say,for in that hour the Holy Spirit will give you the words to say, when it comes to prayer (paraphrased).

Let God run the show and it will never be wrong.
Reply:FYI...... Chrisitians are not the only ones that believe in god..

Just ask for everyones hearts and minds to be open...I'm sure that THEY are aware that they aren't christian, therefore they are seeking knowledge ( which by the way is not the same thing as CONVERSION) I am an Agnositic ( was raised baptist) and attend Unitarian Universalism services. They have a religious pluralism based approach and offer several classes on all the major religions and practices and acknowledges each person and THEIR idea of God. Not everyone views god as HIM,or God, or Allah, or as an all seeing, all knowing, white guy in a robe playing us like chess pieces
Reply:Dunno. I didn't think such a prayer pertains to anyone but those people of Jewish faith.
Reply:Proverbs tells us to pray for wisdom and understanding.

Try that, since it is a bible study, after all...
Reply:Open up by thanking God for everyone that is in attendance. Also, ask for wisdom (James 1:5) for everyone and that everyone learn something about God's truth during the study. Ask that everyone's spiritual heart, mind, eyes, and ears be open. Tell God it is your wish that He be honored during the study, not you or anyone else. Tell Him that the time is for Him, not you guys.

It doesn't have to be long. Just to the point. Good luck!

Cool question.
