A good online Bible study?

im looking for a good FREE online Bible study that will explain the text deeply and will provide some food for thought. It would be great if it also explained why the Bible is trustworthy and used also OTHER resources than only the Bible itself to prove that. I am quite rational person and would prefer something more science-argument based than just "what should I do in order to get to heaven?" type of course. Thank you very much for your answer.

Please do not answer if you are an Atheist or a practitioner of other than Christian religion. Thank you.

Reply:www.iamapatheticloser.com , does that help :P
Reply:The only thing I can think of is searching for a yahoo group that is what you are looking for. Although, I have joined several groups religious based, and they have all been extremely judgemental and really mean. I don't stay in them long. I would be interested to hear what others say...
Reply:Biblegateway.com has a number of Bible translations as well as other resources to help you understand the passages you are reading.
Reply:You know what may be better then online bible courses, find a christian college nearby and find out when the bible study is. I went to a christian college and we had a bible study class and an afterschool we discussed it at certain times. There were always flyers up and it discussed a lot more then just the bible and sources related to the bible like history and the such.
Reply:Well looks like Forerunner covered the links I was going to share with ya and a few i don't have too lol
Reply:You can always trust Amazing Facts. It's in depth, you can watch their programs on your pc and you can call in live questions. They have a library with a plethora of biblical subjects. The url is below in the source section...check it out. Love and God bless, Pami ^_^
Reply:Hi,

You can get with someone that offers lessons through the email or you can do ministry websites that have printable lessons. When you are looking for a Bible Study group you have to make sure that what they are teaching is lining up with the word of God. I am in the process of getting an women's Ministry and I am willing to answer your questions to the best of my God given ablilty. I will comment that you can not look for the Word of God in a scientific way. There is nothing scientific about the word of God. When God inspired the prophets and apostles to write his Word it was for people to believe his Word. The Word is accepted by faith. The Word of God tells you without faith it is impossible to please God. God is not going to perform tricks so that people can believe in him. For people that struggle with believing in him he says in Romans 1:19-20- "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." To break that down for you " For the truth about God is known to all people instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. We don't have to run from this to that to understand God he has already given us a spirit to know him. My advice to you is read 1 Timothy 6:12. Know that the greatest enemy to faith is a lack of understanding God's Word. All hindrances to faith center around this lack of knowledge; because you cannot believe or have faith beyond your actual knowledge of the Word of God. Your faith will automatically grow as your understanding of God's Word grows(Romans 10:17) If your faith is not growing, it's because your knowledge of God's Word is not growing. You cannot grow or develop spirtually if you are not growing in faith. Don't look for arguements for God's Word because God says not to get into arguements over his Word because his Word is the same today, yesterday and forever. I hope that I answered your concerns. Feel free to email and I will get back with you in a timely manner.
