Bible Study Questions?

Um, for bible study tonight I need a verse of when God audibly communicates with someone. This is highly unlikely, but it would also be nice if someone could find an example of when God uses His word to communicate. Like I said, I don't think it's there, but that's what the instructor asked for...

Bible Study Questions?
He audibly communicated with Adam in Genesiss
Reply:God talks to Moses through the burning bush. Give me a second and I will give you a verse. He also speaks to Samuel. I will find that one, too.

Edit: In 1 Samuel chapter 3, God talks to Samuel. I think it is Exdodus 3 where God talks to Moses.

Also, God talks to Noah about the ark in Genesis 8, I think.

I know there are several more examples but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
Reply:Hope this one helps:

Matthew 17:1-9

17 Six days later Jesus took Peter and James and John his brother along and brought them up into a lofty mountain by themselves. 2 And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone as the sun, and his outer garments became brilliant as the light. 3 And, look! there appeared to them Moses and E‧li′jah, conversing with him. 4 Responsively Peter said to Jesus: “Lord, it is fine for us to be here. If you wish, I will erect three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for E‧li′jah.” 5 While he was yet speaking, look! a bright cloud overshadowed them, and, look! a voice out of the cloud, saying: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved; listen to him.” 6 At hearing this the disciples fell upon their faces and became very much afraid. 7 Then Jesus came near and, touching them, said: “Get up and have no fear.” 8 When they raised their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus himself only. 9 And as they were descending from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying: “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of man is raised up from the dead.”

Have an enjoyable and beneficial BS.
Reply:As Mercedes said, look it up yourself. There are lots of examples. I've give you a couple to whet your appetite:

- Daniel 4:31

- Matt. 3:17

If you don't know how to find this information, start by going to http://www.biblegateway.com and in the Search field enter "voice from heaven". That should get you started.
Reply:Acts 9 we have Paul who was not an apostle yet but called to be an apostle. On his way to Damascus, he was sitting on his donkey. As he was sitting on his donkey going to persecute the Christians, the power of God shone upon him. Jesus Christ looks down from His throne of glory. Jesus didn’t come to this planet earth. Jesus looks down from His throne of glory. Jesus wanted to speak to Paul some thing. So, the angels open the windows of heaven and Jesus speaks out through the windows in heaven and said, “Saul, Saul.” That little opening was so great that Paul fell off his donkey. That’s the glory of God. Some of us are saying, “Lord send Thy glory.” Some times, we know not what we ask. There was just a little bit of God’s glory and Paul was thrown from his donkey. While he was down on the floor, he heard the voice of Jesus through the mediation of the Holy Spirit who was the channel of telephone line.
Reply:Ummm...hey, I know. Why don't you read the Bible to find out the answer. What is the point of Bible STUDY if you don't want to study it! Come on, you can do this. Hint: read the book of Exodus...Moses.....:)
Reply:He (God) spoke to Adam, Noah, Moses, Joshua, Abraham, and Jesus for a start.

Find a concordance and tell me the chapters and verses.
Reply:I think you should look it up yourself. It is there and you need to do your own research. That's what a personal Bible Study is for.
Reply:Check out Samuel. God talks to him, but Samuel believes it is Eli, his mentor. Isaiah and Moses also spoke with God.
Reply:My understanding is, that whenever God communicated with "mankind" He did so thru angels. In the garden of eden did not God walk alongside man ? Just thought of that.
Reply:Moses communicated with God
Reply:God spoke in John 12:28-30.
Reply:The whole New Testament has God the Son speaking to many people.
Reply:Hmmm, who asked Adam and Eve why they were hiding?
Reply:When Jesus was baptized," This is my son whom I have approved"
Reply:how about when God gave Moses the ten commandments?
